Gateshead Town Centre:
Topographic survey for the regeneration of a large area of Gateshead, where the 1960's shopping centre is to be demolished and regenerated in conjunction with a leading supermarket chain. As well a detailed topographic survey, building elevations and streetscape plans were also produced to enable architects to produce 3D models of the new development.
Newcastle City
Topographic surveys of number of social housing schemes throughout the city, including Walker Riverside, Elswick, Scotswood, and Cruddas Park. As well as topographic surveys, full internal measured building surveys and elevation surveys were produced for 12 storey blocks of flats at Cruddas Park, to enable detailed refurbishment plans to be produced.
Quarry Surveys
For over 10 years Landform Surveys has been proud to hold the survey contract for the North East & Cumbria for one of the leading multi national quarry operators. Duties include regular face update surveys, stockpiles surveys, earthwork surveys, and restoration surveys. A 100 ha hectare for a quarry extension has also recently been completed.
Former Department Store
A full measured survey has recently been undertaken at a large former department store in Newcastle. Spread over 5 floors, this was a complex survey as there had been many extensions added over the last 50 years to the original building. Full elevations of the listed facade were also produced, along with cross sections and streetscape plans.
